In a technique called Repousse' Effects in metal clay taught by Holly Gage, this pendent was created from my picture I had taken of the butterfly. It was carved into polymer clay to be used as the mold. The leaf of a coleus formed the back bail, finished off with a caterpillar eating the leaf before turning into the beautiful butterfly!
