Fun with recycled plastic containers!

I happen to see on Facebook a post on using recycled plastic containers to make charms. It looked easy enough to have some fun with my grandchildren. It called for a #6 plastic, but I only had #1 that held herbs. I printed up a character, traced the image and colored it in with permanent markers. Hefty.co/shrinkcharms calls for 2-3 min in 330* oven. I used a toaster oven (window open, fan blowing). The color becomes vivid and true and part of the plastic. Next time, I'll try a heat gun.
